In January 2024, the highly anticipated Conrad Orlando opened its doors, bringing the renowned Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand to the heart of Orlando. Nestled within the sprawling 1,100-acre Evermore Orlando Resort, this opulent destination promises a unique blend of relaxation and adventure. With its proximity to world-famous theme parks and a host of luxurious amenities, Conrad Orlando sets a new standard for upscale accommodations in Florida. Needless to say, we were excited to check out the hotel during our trip to the Disney World’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party this past October.

Accommodations with Thoughtful Details

From the moment you step into Conrad Orlando, it’s clear that you’re in for a treat. The modern architecture exudes sophistication, and the attentive staff immediately make you feel welcome. The expansive lobby offers breathtaking views of Evermore Bay, an 8-acre crystalline lagoon, creating the illusion of being on a tropical island.

As Hilton Honors Gold members, we were delighted to receive an upgrade to a pool-view King room, which further elevated our experience. This thoughtful touch set the tone for a truly memorable stay.

Our room was perfect for a party of three, featuring a comfortable King bed, a spacious seating area, and tasteful decor that seamlessly blended luxury with a cozy vibe. The bathroom was equally impressive, boasting his-and-her sinks and a giant marbled shower, offering the perfect sanctuary after a long day.

We also loved the amenity provided by Mojave Ghost - the scent on all the products were heavenly. Of course, as gold members, we were given two “bottled” waters every day. Waters were provided in paper cartons with a reusable water bottle to use and take home after the vacation, which really reflected on the hotel’s efforts in providing eco-friendly amenities.

The view from our balcony overlooked the exclusive Conrad guest pool, a serene retreat away from the bustling lagoon shared with the Evermore side of the resort. This exclusivity ensures a more peaceful experience, especially during peak times.

Dining Delights

Conrad Orlando offers five distinct dining venues, and we made it a point to experience the culinary highlights. One evening, we dined at Sophia’s Trattoria, located on the ground floor. The Italian cuisine was divine, with perfectly cooked pasta dishes and a thoughtful kids’ menu that pleased even the pickiest eater in our group.

For a more casual option, we ventured to the Evermore food court, which features a variety of options like pizzas and burgers. Ordering was seamless, and every dish was delicious. This flexibility is a blessing for families with children who have diverse tastes.

Additionally, the hotel’s grab-and-go bakery on the first floor came in handy on our departure day. With breakfast items, snacks, and drinks readily available, we avoided the morning rush while ensuring we were fueled for the journey ahead.

Exclusive Amenities

Conrad Orlando’s exclusive shuttle service to Disney World was a highlight of our trip. Unlike shared shuttles that make multiple stops, this luxury motor coach transported us directly to the park in just 30 minutes. This convenience was especially appreciated as we attended Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Back at the hotel, the arrival/departure lounge deserves special mention. Equipped with changing rooms and showers, it allowed us to maximize every minute of our stay—a thoughtful feature for travelers dealing with check-in or check-out schedules.

Lagoon Life and Leisure

The 8-acre crystalline lagoon is a centerpiece of Evermore Resort, and it did not disappoint. The water’s pristine clarity and the surrounding amenities make it a must-visit. For Conrad guests, a private lagoon beach area ensures easy access to loungers and a more tranquil experience compared to the shared spaces. Whether you’re swimming, lounging, or simply soaking in the views, the lagoon is a paradise for all ages.

If you prefer the pool scene, the Conrad-exclusive heated pool is an ideal retreat. With limited access to hotel guests, it’s the perfect spot to relax without the crowds typically found in resort settings.

The resort’s expansive layout is easily navigable, thanks to a charming trolley service that runs between the Conrad and the Evermore sides of the property. This added convenience ensures you can explore everything the resort has to offer without worrying about long walks.
